TCP/IP Setup
Again there will be more Control Panels listed that this, but pick the one that they have. MacTCP will most likely appear with the ConfigPPP and FreePPP. The TCP/IP panel is part of Open Transport, Apple's newest connection software, and will be found with PPP, Remote Access, and possibly also with FreePPP. ![]() MacTCP No picture available for this control panel. Configuring the MacTCP Control Panel Click Apple Menu, Control Panels, MacTCP. If it is not there, you need to install it from your operating system disks. Consult your computer's documentation for details. On this screen, you will see your network items, including your PPP icon (either FreePPP or MacPPP must be installed). Highlight your PPP icon, and click "More," then enter the following information: Obtain Address: Select Server Domain Name Server Information: (enter the following:) 1st blank: Domain: citynet.net IP Address: 66.118.80.4 (default CLICKED) 2nd blank: Domain: citynet.net IP Address: 66.118.64.3 (default NOT CLICKED) (Note - Routing Information and IP Address will be administered by the server) Click OK to close this screen, then close the MacTCP screen by clicking the close box. Congratulations!!! That should complete the setup. TCP/IP This Control Panel should look just like this.
